A Story From Our Villa Wedding in Bali
Samantha and Liam had their special Bali villa wedding in an exquisite Jimbaran villa overlooking the crystalline bay. The highlight of this villa was an infinity pool whose soft shades of blue melted into the ocean of the horizon. The décor leading up to the altar was very minimalistic, which was a perfect choice to go with considering the powerful and stunning view. Samantha’s ladies were getting dolled up at one end of the villa, while the gentlemen were relaxing in the pool. Lounging in a swimming pool just hours before your big wedding moment is no surprise in Bali; it’s the laid back atmosphere of this island that make special events like this so calm and stress-free! The weather was divine and cloud free. As Liam and Samantha concluded their vows at the pool’s edge, the celebratory attendees showered the couple with vibrant yellow flower petals they had been storing in a cone shaped banana leaf. After the ceremony came to a close, the family and friends embarked on a photo tour to a nearby, white sand beach. Chilled beers and champagne were brought along to the shoot, setting up a wonderful mood for the photo session. After dinner, a spectacular performance was put on by Balinese fire dancers, wowing the guests with an epic highlight of the cheerful evening. The bride attributes the fantastic effortlessness of her wedding to the hands-on wedding planner who pulled everything together. These lovely experts hail from Australia and have a top notch, boutique wedding-planner service by the name of Whiskaway, based in Bali.
Why Not Have Your Bali Wedding in a Villa
Hector and Colleen chose a gorgeous Canggu residence as their Bali wedding villa. This incredible venue is only 100 meters inland from the beach. The villa and its turquoise swimming pool are surrounded by natural lush landscape including verdant ferns, frangipani trees and coconut palms, yet exhibits a majestic view of the ocean just beyond the vegetation. The altar décor was created from a dazzling garland arch of fresh pink flowers, which harmonized stunningly with the pink bridesmaid dresses and the corsages on the groomsmen’s breasts. After the sweet blessing ceremony, the family and friends journeyed to the beach bordering the wedding Bali villa for a fun session of photography. The sunset was unforgettable, and Hector and Colleen didn’t mind getting wet whatsoever! The adorable couple jumped right into the magnetic waves and flashed genuine laughter and happiness for every camera click that went off. After waltzing back to the villa to change and enjoy a festive buffet dinner, a DJ spun laid back tunes while everyone took the dance floor. This wedding villa Bali had the dance floor conveniently sprawled out adjacent to the pool, so that the magical evening concluded with a slash, literally! As if compulsory tradition at any Bali villas wedding with an enticing swimming pool, every single groomsman and bridesmaid either jumped in, or were unwillingly pushed into the refreshing waters – now that’s a wedding party, AND a pool party! The kind villa staff promptly scrambled to collect as many towels as they could for the rascal groomsmen and the drenched bridesmaids, to the great relief of the wedding planner.
You too can celebrate your wedding in a villa in Bali
This was quite the international affair! Leigh and Bryce are a wonderful couple who flew in from the U.K., and their guests were mostly from South Africa. Somehow, they all made it to the Island of the Gods and experienced a smooth villa wedding Bali in which everyone was provided luxurious accommodation and mouth-watering meals. Everything went perfect. Pristine blue skies and a consistent, refreshing breeze swept everyone into that dreamy Bali charm of ease and comfort. This villa for wedding Bali in particular was a luxurious estate of 5,000 square meters, designed with lavish gardens and a 26 meter infinity swimming pool set immediately at the edge of the cliff. Below the towering cliffs, rolling waves of the delightful Nyang-Nyang Beach provided the quintessential backdrop to Leigh and Bryce’s scenic, villa Bali wedding. Their ceremony took place in the afternoon, and was actually conducted by an old friend of the couple. The jolly celebrant was, in fact, wearing shorts. That’s the Bali style right there! After the ceremony, guests shared cocktails and micro-brewed, imported beers. The emphasis on high quality hops and malt was a great way to treat guests who had traveled from all over the world. Here comes the fun surprise – the traditional custom of speeches from close friends was carried out in the form of rap by the groom’s close friends. The performance was astonishingly hilarious, and, actually good! This villa is located close to the 18 hole golf-course of Pecatu and the famous beaches of Padang-Padang and Bingin, ensuring all the guests had a lovely holiday throughout their stay before and after Leigh and Bryce’s wedding.
