Villa Lotus Seminyak 2 Bedroom

The villa was beautiful and the maid koma was lovely and beyond helpful. She cooked us great breakfasts and booked taxis and massages for us. Would definitely come back and recommend. - Callie

Firstly, note that the picture shown is not the Villa Lotus Bali listed as a B&B. The Villa Lotus in Seminyak is a fantastic, 2 storey villa with a large living / dining area, 3 large bedrooms with a decent outdoors area / pool, as well as a separate guesthouse attached. We stayed 4 nights at Villa Lotus - 2 families with 5 kids (including one infant). The villa was comfortable, spacious and well maintained daily with two maids, pool cleaner and gardener. The maids cookeda lovely breakfast to order each morning, and was helpful with directions and suggestions for places to go. The downstairs master bedroom had a decking leading straight out to the pool. There wasn't anything I would fault about the villa, except the outdoors shower / bath downstairs wasn't something I was used to. We asked for a babycot and one was arranged, even with a mosquito net! Location was fantastic - there is a short cut through the back (had to walk through a construction site though) to get to Seminyak Square which had lots of shopping, a cafe and supermarket. There were loads of restaurants nearby, including the famous Ku De Ta (which was outrageously expensive). Since we had young kids with us, we ordered in most nights and the food was reasonably priced and good quality. Emstarr

We had a fabulous holiday with friends here. The place was amazing 3 massive bedrooms and an attached cottage just has big. A great size pool always clean and quiet surroundings. The onsite maid/cleaner was also a diamond in the rough and went out of her way to help you and provide you with local advice. Also the driver for our day trips she organised was amazing and helped out with the kids and payments at the various places. Would come highly recommended this villa and we intend on going back. This villa is FANTASTIC. We (a group of 5 girls) stayed here at the end of April/start of May on a girls trip. The pictures on the site definitely don't do this villa any justice. The Villa (main house) has 3 large king size bedrooms each with its own bathroom. The upstairs bedroom has an indoor bathroom, the 2x downstairs bedrooms have outdoor showers. The living space is huge with ample space for 6 people to relax in. There is also a great size kitchen, with a water dispenser in it- very handy for filling up your water bottles when out and about. The outdoor area is huge, with a lovely grassed area and a great size pool, that sees the sun for a lot of the day. There are 4 pool lounges and a outdoor undercover day bed which could fit 3 comfortably lying down. There is a separate Bungalow on the property if you needed another 1-2 people to stay. The villa is kept very clean and tidy by our wonderful maids Ketut and Ayu, there is also a pool cleaner who comes every morning. Ketut is absolutely amazing, and an asset to this villa. Ketut speaks English really well and was always helping us out with bookings and general info of the area. I really enjoyed chatting to her everyday and having a laugh. Ketut also made a great breakfast every morning for us, what ever we requested. Really felt spoilt. On our final day Ketut came back and cooked us a farewell dinner - Nasi Goreng, sate with peanut sauce and also adapted what ever she cooked for a vegetarian in the group. Ketut alone is a 10/10. The location is good. It's down a Gang (lane way). A mini mart at the end of the lane- which also had an ATM and money exchanger. Walk to Seminyak square in 5 mins (back way). Walk to beach 5 mins. Walk to Sea Circus a fantastic little cafe/Body works- great pedicures/motel mexicola- fun night out, all 2-5mins walk. Walk to Biku (great High tea experience). Potato Head or AMO (great massages) about 15-20mins walk. If you want to go shopping a bit further out- Kuta or Legian, or are hot and tired- cab is your best option for a few dollars. Would definitely recommend this Villa, felt right at home and relaxed immediately. bopperVictoria

Firstly Ketut is great and will arrange everything you need - breakfast, baby chair, pool fence, grocery and drink orders etc. She speaks fluent English and you won't need to worry about anything. There was also no additional charge for the baby chair, travel cot and the pool fence which is uncommon in seminyak. You could easily fit 4 couples and a few kids in travel cots or additional bedding due to the layout. The villa is huge. The downstairs has a large living room, dining table and large kitchen. There are two large bedrooms with large ensuite with both shower and baths. Upstairs there is another large bedroom with ensuite and a sitting room - plenty of space if you are couples travel with small kids in baby cots if you don't want the infants in your room. The outside bungalow is also large and has an ensuite. It is of a high quality and much better than every other separated room/bungalow we have stayed in. Outside is a large grassed area, pool with plenty of room to lay and 4 fish ponds which the kids love - they also help keep the mosquitos away... I cannot recommend the villa enough and you'll see by the map it is in the heart of seminyak and less than 5mins from seminyak Square and sea circus. ubgqv83

The staff at the villa were so lovely and bent over backwards for us. Awesome things the staff organised for us: Cooked us breakfast every day Cleaned the villa and our rooms daily Organised a pool fence for us Got cartons of Bintangs for us at a much cheaper price than you can buy them for at mini marts Stacked the drinks in an esky and topped the eskies up with ice when needed Organised transport soooo many more things. The villa is located down a lane/gang but it is a 2 minute walk to Seminyak Square/Eat Street or Motel Mexicola/Sea Circus. Best location and easy to walk around and not necessary to get taxi's everywhere as everything is so close. Villa is modern and clean. Cannot say a bad thing about this villa. Can't wait to be back there in September for my second stay. Jemma B
