About The Villa Samaki
Peaceful, breathtaking, and magical are the words to describe the Samaki pavilion, which is built right at the edge of a river valley. Despite being only a few minutes from Ubud, the villa rests in an area of untouched nature and scenic views. It is constructed from traditional teak, so you’ll feel right at home once you walk into its gorgeous interior with minimalistic yet elegant décor.
Subtle touches like full-length glass doors and high roofs make the spacious pavilion seem even bigger without taking away its effortlessly natural appeal. You’re bound to have the most peaceful moments of your life right here at this quiet villa.
Outdoor and Pool Area
Villa Samaki offers one of the most unique garden spaces you’ll find anywhere. The garden is spread out over different layers filled with verdant tropical plants, a layout that is reminiscent of the rice paddies in the neighboring Canggu region. You’ll have a stylish infinity pool at your disposal for when you feel like taking a dip to cool off or are in the mood to float lazily on it with a drink in hand.
Should you feel like dining in the ambient outdoors, there is an alfresco dining bale roofed with traditional alang-alang placed right at the edge of the river gorge—peeking down will give you intense views of the river snaking down the valley. Further down the valley, there is a large gazebo with two massage tables where you can enjoy some pampering to the sounds of nature.
Living Areas
The thoroughly air-conditioned living areas at the pavilion are always bright and airy, and aside from the high alang-alang roof, we have the sliding glass doors to thank for this beautiful indoor environment. Hardwood floors give you a taste of luxury, and as you walk around the pavilion, you’ll be enthralled by several artistic pieces including traditional artwork and hand-carved antique furniture.
For relaxation, there is an ornamented day bed with turquoise cushions where you can kick back and steal a mid-afternoon siesta. If you’re in the mood for reading or entertaining guests, you’ll find the traditional sofa and coffee table in the living lounge to be just what you need.
The living area has everything you’ll need to make your holiday enjoyable, from a working desk to a gorgeous teak dining table and a fully equipped kitchen. Upstairs, a loft-style mezzanine is equipped with a home theater system and a large TV; movie nights here will truly be exciting.
Bedrooms
There are three bedrooms at the villa, one of which is tucked away in its own private bungalow with scenic views from the balcony, large closet spaces, an en-suite bathroom with a tub and an outdoor shower, and a TV with a DVD player for entertainment. Two other rooms are at the rear side of the pavilion, and here you’ll get to enjoy more of the ambient environment, hardwood floors, and private en-suite bathrooms with rain showers and terrazzo bathtubs. All three rooms are furnished with canopied, four-poster double beds.
Staff and Services
A staff of four caters to your needs while at the villa, be it housekeeping, butler services, security, and pool cleaning. They are on-hand 24 hours a day.
