Your very own private paradise stretches out languorously along the Penet River bank through the serene village of Cepaka in Tabanan Regency. This spot is arguably the heart of Islands of god’s fertile rice bowls. The quaint village where Villa Maya Retreat is set is a typical example of a traditional community untouched by the rapid development and tourism to the south of Bali. While staying in the villa, you will have the chance to experience the daily life of the friendly villagers including their religious and agricultural activities. The villa is about 12 KM away from the famed sea temple –Tana Lot and surf beaches like Echo Beach is about 8 KM away from the villa.

Outdoor and pool area
Sitting on a river bank, Villa Maya retreat boasts of a tropical surrounding featuring well-kept garden lawns dotted with a variety of lush tropical foliage and jungle vegetation. At the center of the courtyard is a 12 by 5-meter infinity swimming pool tiled with green stones and encircled by a wooden deck hosting six comfortable loungers shaded by colorful, ceremonial umbrellas for supine indolence. Suspended over the river to the private garden alcoves are two relaxation bales boasting of U-shaped seating giving an idyllic space for pre-dinner drinks, enjoying a massage, or absorb the solitude while soothed by ravaging sounds of the river.

Living areas
Overlooking the infinity pool amidst the luxury home is an open-sided air-conditioned alang-alang thatched living pavilion forming the villa’s social hub. Here, three over-sized sofas set about marble-topped coffee tables and arranged to face a 42-inch flat-screen satellite-channel television with movie/magazine library and DVD player.
The second open-sided fan-cooled pavilion is a dining space featuring a four-meter teakwood dining table standing on a highly polished concrete floor. Ten comfy and highly upholstered rattan chairs compliment this center-stage. Adjacent to this spot is a fully equipped western style kitchen with a service bar furnished with three state-of-the-art bar stools according an astonishing seat for watching our chefs while at work or for sipping your favorite cocktails.

Bedrooms
Villa Maya retreat is a spacious, sumptuous six-bedroom facility. Each of the rooms are housed in a private pavilion and its unique details. However, some features are standard with each bedroom boasting of high-vaulted ceilings, en-suite bathrooms, individual patio to admire beyond views, and polished terrazzo floors. Besides that, each sleeping pavilion is fan-cooled and presents a four-poster & canopy king-size beds and small bar-fridge.
